You can now embed the chat window directly into any page – not just as a floating button.
This opens up new possibilities: want your chatbot right on your homepage, FAQ, or a custom landing page? No problem. It’s all handled through the Shopify Theme Editor, and takes just a couple of steps.
🔧 How to Set Up the Embedded Chat
💡 If your page already has a custom template, skip step 2.
Step 1 – Open the Shopify Theme Editor
Navigate to your live theme and click “Customize”.
Step 2 – Create a New Page Template (Optional)
Create a new template for pages, e.g. page.chat or page.with-chat.
Step 3 – Add the “Embedded Chat” Section to the Template
In the editor, click “Add Section” and select Embedded Chat from the app sections.
Step 4 – Apply the Template to the Page
Go to your Shopify admin → Pages, select the page where the chat should appear, and assign the newly created template.
And that’s it! The chat window will now appear seamlessly as part of the page layout.
This gives you more control over the position, context, and visibility of the chatbot — whether you’re building a product quiz, support page, or lead magnet.
